Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a privately owned, diversified paper manufacturer. Founded in 1933, this Green Bay, WI based paper and packaging company has 3,400 employees and 34 manufacturing locations. The Coated Products Operations manufactures and slits pressure sensitive label stock, utilizing a variety of face stock, adhesive and release liner combinations. Based in Green Bay, WI, the Coated Products Operations has three manufacturing plants and four slitting and distribution centers located throughout the country. In addition, this division has an operation in Mexico.
This key management position will be responsible for Safety, Quality, Production, Training, and Coaching in a manufacturing environment. We are currently on a 12 hour, rotating shift schedule, with a block of 6 days off in every three week cycle. Employees will be required to work some Saturdays.
A proven commitment to safety and best practices implementation - A collaborative management style, able to work well with all levels in the organization - Outstanding Leadership Skills - Excellent communication and team building skills - Slitting or web handling experience - Strong organizational and prioritizing skills - Lean, Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies - Good computer skills - Supervisory experience is preferred - A four year or Associate degree is preferred
