This role requires an energetic, customer service-oriented technologist with a minimum of 3-5 years applicable work experience in Windows Server administration, Citrix, Powershell scripting, and application support.  Familiarity with O365 and fax server technologies is a plus. This individual will have a highly effective ability to communicate directly with our end user community. Problem-solving and a teamwork mentality is critical for this position. 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  1. Management/administration of Citrix Xenapp Server and Netscaler hardware
  2. Installation, maintenance and administration of Remote Desktop Services
  3. Installation, maintenance and administration of Windows Server and Active Directory
  4. Management of Microsoft server security configuration and patching
  5. Provisioning and administration of user access credentials and folder permissions
  6. Maintenance and administration of DHCP, DNS, IIS, FTP and other network services
  7. Administration of server hardware and software inventories and documentation
  8. Monitor and work customer support tickets and requests
  9. Respond to server resource monitoring alerts
  10. Knowledge of and applied experience of handling performance monitoring and tuning
  11. Ability to participate in a rotational 24/7 on-call schedule
  12. Perform other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES  
  1. Windows Server: 2008 - 2019
  2. Citrix XenApp 6.5 and 7.x 
  3. Microsoft Active Directory 
  4. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 
  5. Knowledge and understanding of server virtualization focused on VMware products 
  6. Demonstrate basic to intermediate scripting knowledge and skills with PowerShell 
  7. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills 
  8. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a time-critical production environment 
  9. Ability to comprehend systems architecture and design 
  10. Ability to gather, interpret, document, and evaluate server requirements 
  11. Ability to conduct research into server and application issues, as required 
  12. Ability to present ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language 
  13. Highly self-motivated, with keen attention to detail 
  14. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  15. Strong customer service orientation and work ethic 
  16. Experience working in a dispersed, team-oriented, collaborative environment 
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE 
  • Associates degree, trade school certificate or equivalent hands-on work experience 
  • 3+ years’ experience in server configuration management, administration and production support 
  • Microsoft Server systems certifications preferred such as: Microsoft MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCITP are valued
