Green Bay Packaging Inc. is a privately owned, diversified paper and packaging manufacturer. Founded in 1933, this Green Bay, WI based paper company has 3,000 employees and 30 manufacturing locations. The Green Bay Mill operates one containerboard mill that produces linerboard and corrugated medium in the full spectrum of basis weights. The Green Bay Mill uses 100% post-consumer recycled fiber.
Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include operating or assisting in the operation of manufacturing machinery, conducting quality checks, and general plant operations. Responsible for operating material handling equipment including forklift and front-end loader. Assist in plant maintenance operations including cleaning and maintenance.
Candidates should have working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical. Ability to work 12 hour rotating shifts (6 a.m. to 6 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.). Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team are required. Previous manufacturing experience in a rotating shift facility is preferred but not required. Additional education beyond high school is a plus.
