Maintenance Planner/Supervisor

Green Bay Packaging's Arkansas Kraft Division is a fully-integrated pulp and paperboard mill.  Being fully-integrated means we utilize a large percentage of recycled materials to produce kraft linerboard and medium. Facility Capabilities:
  • A two paper machine, fully integrated facility with pulp/power and recycle fiber capacity.
  • Linerboard and corrugating medium production capability in basis weights from 26#/MSF to 69#/MSF.

Reporting to the Mechanical Maintenance Superintendent, the Maintenance Planner/Supervisor will be responsible for planning and scheduling all maintenance work in their area of responsibility in the Arkansas Kraft Mill.  They will provide maintenance support for scheduled shutdowns, troubleshooting, corrective actions, capital planning, cost management, etc... The Maintenance Planner/Supervisor will work closely with other area Planner/Supervisors to support their tasks as it relates to equipment reliability and maintenance best practices.  With the support of management, the Maintenance Planner/Supervisor will lead and manage activities around asset management by maintaining and enhancing the plant's property and equipment, improving substandard facilities and requesting funds to upgrade facilities through budget and capital funding requests.
Experience in Pulp, Utilities, or Paper Machine maintenance is preferred.  The successful candidate should be a self-starter and able to work without daily direct supervision. In addition to a full complement of leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams in an union environment, it is also important for the Maintenance Planner/Supervisor to be able to work with people.  The candidate should be able to communicate effectively with seasoned maintenance professionals, the hourly workforce, and management.
