Green Bay Packaging has two new thinner products that can reduce costs for you, and benefit your customers.
026TT, a 2.6 mil Thermal Transfer White Label-Lyte™, is a thinner version of 030TT, our 3.0 mil Label-Lyte film. Thinner material results in more labels per roll for your customer and fewer roll changes during application. Because 026TT is thinner, it’s less expensive than 030TT, too.
17GL, a 1.7 mil White Glassine Liner, is a less expensive and thinner alternative to our 2.5 mil kraft liner, 40SC. 17GL is lighter than 40SC (28# vs. 41#). Its lighter weight translates into lower shipping cost. 17GL performs similarly to 40SC and can be used as a liner on most paper facers.
026TT is available on T.I.P. with 747, a tackified permanent adhesive and 2.5 mil kraft liner, 40SC.
17GL is on T.I.P. with VALUT, a value thermal transfer paper facer and 758M, a general purpose permanent adhesive. It is also on T.I.P. with 025NT, a non-top coated direct thermal paper with 720, an all-temperature adhesive.
