Located just north of Baltimore's Inner Harbor, the division serves customers in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Baltimore Division supplies corrugated packaging materials and point of purchase displays to a host of clients.
Primary duties include safely performing a wide range of tasks that include stacking corrugated product, conducting quality checks, material set-up, and maintaining an organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to working safely, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have a strong desire to learn manufacturing processes, and the ability to operate complex machinery. The successful candidate must be able to work any shift (1st, 2nd, or 3rd), including overtime and weekends.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to operate a variety of manufacturing equipment from flexo-folder/gluers to a corrugator as well as intricate die-cut machines. The successful candidate will be able to follow specific instructions and direction, operate power hand tools, and perform other duties as assigned. Additionally, this is considered a safety sensitive position which requires a constant state of alertness to workplace conditions and hazards and the ability to work in a safe manner. Additional qualifications include:
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to work safely and comply with all safety regulations
- Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs.
- Ability to navigate stairs, stand, walk, bend, and kneel throughout the entire shift
High school or technical diploma or equivalent preferred. Candidates should have a working knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. Candidates must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical post offer. $15.87 (with shift differential) starting rate with an opportunity to earn an increase of $1.00 per hour upon the successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
