Division description
The Folding Carton Division is an industry leading manufacturer of Folding Cartons for food, paper, hardware, confectionary, cosmetic and many other industries.  Employing over 200 people, this facility designs, prints and manufactures folding cartons, trays, and displays for a broad range of products and customers.
Job description
This position will review plant payroll daily along with weekly and bi-weekly reconciliation and adjustments, maintain plant absenteeism and time off records and reports, and provide accurate, concise, and current payroll and disciplinary data for management’s information and direction.  This position will also provide general office support to the division including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and general administrative support, perform various tasks as directed by the management team and provide backup for the Accounting Assistant.
  • Two years of experience in an accounting department, with at least 6 months of training in payroll procedures.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical aptitude and knowledge of general accounting practices.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality.
  • Highly organized self-starter who can work independently with little supervision.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret, and edit reports.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of payroll and personal information.
  • Excellent computer skills – proficient in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • Must be friendly, personable & have strong communication skills (verbal & written).
