Division description
Located just north of Baltimore, in the town of Hunt Valley {Baltimore County}, the division serves customers in Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Virginia, and West Virginia. The Baltimore Division supplies corrugated packaging materials and point of purchase displays to a host of clients.
Job description
Job Summary This position requires a self-motivated individual willing to work safely in a team-based system. They need to have the ability to prioritize their workload and complete tasks in a timely manner. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must. A desire for continuous improvement and quality workmanship are required to meet our customers increasing demands. Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Performing preventative maintenance, grease motors, troubleshooting breakdowns, and installations in a modern, automated facility.
  • Performing the installation of electrical equipment including cable trays, pulling cable and wires, running conduit, installing drives and motors.
  • Replacement and installation of lighting fixtures and lamps as required.
  • As appropriate, ensure department/area of responsibility is in compliance with all appropriate environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
  • Demonstrate understanding and appreciation for key financial drivers in the plant and how they affect the bottom line. Be fluent in calculating the various costs of decisions as well as inventory costs.
Education and Experience
  • Good troubleshooting ability, manual dexterity and ability to read and comprehend schematics and blueprints.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Must be familiar with all AC, DC, low voltage, and 480V, equipment as required.
  • Must be knowledgeable to perform job functions of PLC troubleshooting and programming.
  • Must be able to perform the job functions including climbing ladders and working with aerial platforms.
  • Quality conscious individual with excellent communication.
  • Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical Technology, or equivalent.
Work Schedule Candidates must be able to work 1st shift, Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:00pm, 2nd shift Monday – Friday2:00pm to 10:00pm  and occasional work Saturday and Sundays.
