Division description
GBP-Tulsa, is currently seeking an IT Coordinator for our Corrugated Manufacturing Operation located in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  This facility manufactures corrugated cartons and point of purchase displays and has been in business since 1973 in West Tulsa.  We are currently completing construction of a new 550,000SF facility in West Tulsa/Sapulpa. We also have a satellite warehouse facility in Joplin, MO as well as one in Tulsa at present.
Job description
Coordinates all IT projects at all Tulsa Division related facilities and ensures company resources are utilized appropriately. Compiles project status reports, coordinates project schedules, manages project meetings, and identifies and resolves technical problems. Identifies and analyzes systems requirements and defines project scope, requirements, and deliverables. Coordinates project activities and ensures all project phases are documented appropriately.

Responsibilities

  • Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
  • Provide advice on the most suitable IT choices
  • Provide technical support or training for systems and networks
  • Act as link between end users and higher-level support
  • Install and configure software and hardware (printers, network cards etc.) & repairs, upgrades (H/W & S/W)
  • Monitor system and network performance
  • Perform troubleshooting, repairs and data restoration
  • Performance maintenance activities (e.g. backups)
  • Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
  • Collaborate with other professionals to maintain standards and functionality
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role required
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems and applications
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
  • Experience in network management and help desk support preferred
  • BSc/BA in information technology or computer science preferred / or equal experience
  • Certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ etc.) a plus
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair issues
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to travel occasionally to support other GBP regional Divisions as well as corporate training and development events
