Division description
The Kalamazoo Division is a full service, BRCGS certified, corrugated facility. We manufacturing a wide variety of corrugated products from point of purchase graphic displays, to any size corrugated shipping container.
Job description
Green Bay Packaging, Inc Kalamazoo Container Division is hiring a talented Sales Manager to lead our growing team. The Sales Manager is responsible for leading the sales team to reach sales targets. Primary duties will be to hire and train new outside sales team members, set quotas, evaluate and adjust team performance, and develop processes that will drive sales.
  • Recruit, hire, and train sales team
  • Oversight of sales, design, and customer service departments
  • Set sales goals, compare performance to goals, and adjust goals and performance as needed
  • Assess current team processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them
  • Develop individual quotas and assign territories for team members
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts
  • Coach, mentor, and provide continuous feedback to team members
  • Foster a competitive and collaborative team environment
  • Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, suggest best practices, issue corrective action as needed
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Experience setting sales goals
  • Proven ability to lead a team in meeting quotas
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills
  • Deep understanding of sales and quotation systems
  • Working knowledge of MicroSoft Office
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum five years sales experience
