Green Bay Packaging Awarded Fourth Consecutive Green Master Designation

Green Bay, Wis. – Green Bay Packaging Wisconsin operations were recognized as a Green Master for the
fourth consecutive year at the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council Annual Conference Dec. 13, 2013. GBP, specifically its Wisconsin divisions, is one of a select group of companies to earn the Green Master designation, the highest tier in the Green Masters Program, established by the Wisconsin Sustainable Business Council. As a Green Master, GBP performed actions in nine sustainability areas, including energy, water, waste and social actions,
and scored in the top twenty percent of all participating companies. The conference, held this year at Lands’ End headquarters in Dodgeville, Wis., is the only conference in Wisconsin designed specifically for direct business-to-business sharing of sustainability achievements. The conference saw a record attendance, with 345 attendees and 167 companies participating in the program.
