Green Bay Packaging Featured in Global Sustainability TV Series

September 13, 2012

Green Bay Packaging and the company’s commitment to environmental and sustainable stewardship was featured by Global Sustainability TV, a production hosted by former supermodel Kim Alexis that highlights global sustainability topics. The series was created to educate the community about environmental sustainability initiatives of both individuals and companies.

Green Bay Packaging was chosen to participate in the episode about “Industry Leaders Pioneering the Future of Environmental Sustainability.” The video highlights Green Bay Packaging’s commitment to quality, innovation and sustainability, which included the Green Bay Mill’s closed-water-loop system and using 100% recycled fiber, as well as the Arkansas Kraft Mill’s use of biomass, waste-to-energy and sustainable forestry initiatives.

“Innovation and teamwork is what allows Green Bay Packaging to put the green in packaging,” said Lisa Bauer Lotto, Director of Environmental & Sustainability Programs at Green Bay Packaging.
