Green Bay Packaging Inc. Continues Expansion with the Acquisition of Grand Traverse Container, Inc.

GREEN BAY, WI – August 1, 2018 – Green Bay Packaging Inc. (GBP), announced that it has acquired Grand Traverse Container, Inc (GTC).

The acquisition was effective July 27, 2018. Grand Traverse Container was founded in 1995 by Tom Schofield and Mike Chereskin. GTC has an excellent reputation in the marketplace for product innovation, superior quality and best in class service. GTC has consistently grown at a rate faster than the industry for over 20 years. GTC is headquartered in Traverse City, Michigan and has an operation in Grand Rapids, Michigan. GTC services all of Michigan, northern Ohio and northern Indiana. “The acquisition of Grand Traverse Container is a great fit for Green Bay Packaging.
