Green Bay Packaging First In Paper Industry to Achieve SFI® Small Lands Group Certification Module

Green Bay Packaging SFI Small Lands Group Certification Announcement

(Green Bay, WI) – Green Bay Packaging (GBP) is the first in the paper industry to achieve the SFI® Small Lands Group Certification Module. This certification is a collaboration between the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) and the American Forest Foundation (AFF) which aims to certify more family and other small land holders for their sustainable forestry efforts.

This program recognizes GBP’s ongoing stewardship to promote sustainable forest management with family-owned and private landowners through the Green Bay Packaging’s Landowner Resource Program (LRP) and the SFI®  Small Lands Group Certification. Our engagement and resources to supplying small landowners increases the acreage eligible for certified fiber content into the SFI® Chain of Custody program.
