The Green Bay Mill Division is a fully integrated paper mill that uses 100% recycled materials and the latest technology in its state-of-the-art papermaking process to produce rolls of linerboard and medium for the corrugated packaging industry.
State-of-the-Art Inventory Retrieval System (IRS)
The Green Bay Mill Division operates the largest automated vertical stacking warehouse in the Western Hemisphere. With four advanced vacuum head cranes, our facility runs 24/7, ensuring timely and reliable delivery.
Sustainability
The Green Bay Mill Division is the most sustainable paper mill in North America, employing innovative technology and advanced efficiencies in safety, environmental sustainability, paper quality, and production.
- Achieved an 11% reduction in energy consumption per ton of paper produced.
- Realized a 35% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions per ton of paper produced.
- Utilizes biogas from the onsite Effluent Treatment Plant to generate electricity or as a natural substitute, both of which are used in the manufacturing process.
Net Zero Water
Underwriters Laboratories validated the Green Bay Mill Division as the world’s first net zero water facility. The Net Zero Circular Water system transforms a water-intense manufacturing process into a more water-resilient operation.
Paper Mill Capabilities
Our 100% recycled paper mill offers a sustainable solution by providing fully recycled raw materials for fiber furnish, achieving the technical specifications of kraft liner for Mullen, STFI, and Cobb tests.
- We produce medium weights ranging from 23 lbs to 33 lbs, ensuring versatility for various applications.
- Our liner weights vary from 26 lbs to 52 lbs, catering to a wide range of packaging needs.
- We are fully capable of producing Mullen grade liners, meeting industry standards.
- Our high-strength capabilities create durable boxes ideal for cooler, freezer, and high-humidity environments.
- The recycled fiber furnish is composed of Old Corrugated Containers (OCC) and Mixed Paper (MP), reinforcing our commitment to recycling and sustainability.
