Project PowerPack Construction Update!

Green Bay Packaging’s Project PowerPack is progressing on schedule. Our crews are currently installing the structural steel for the new recovery boiler complex — and these columns are massive.
When complete, the recovery boiler complex will utilize over 3,000 tons of steel!
Every piece of steel lifted brings us one step closer to expanded capabilities and long-term sustainability. Stay tuned for more updates as the project continues.

Green Bay Packaging George Kress Foundation Donates $1 Million to Morrilton Sports Complex

The Green Bay Packaging George Kress Foundation has pledged $1 million to help build a new sports complex in Morrilton. This modern facility, planned for Highway 64, will feature baseball and softball fields for local leagues and tournaments, while existing fields will be converted into youth soccer spaces.
The project aims to enhance recreational opportunities for families and attract teams from across Arkansas, boosting community engagement and local business growth. Green Bay Packaging’s investment underscores its commitment to supporting vibrant communities and creating spaces where youth can thrive for generations to come.

- Foundations laid for the utility bridge, substation transformers, and boilers

Green Bay Packaging (GBP) is investing in its Arkansas Kraft paper mill to modernize infrastructure and enhance sustainability. This multi-year project involves replacing boilers and installing an electric turbine generator to reduce emissions, as well as acquiring 300 acres for future expansion.
