We are committed to reducing the environmental impact of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions throughout our operations and complying with regulations and mandatory standards. GBP monitors energy use and GHG emissions (CO2e) to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency of enterprise energy usage, reduce associated emissions, and communicate with stakeholders for strategy on actions and initiatives to reduce emissions.
- GBP is committed to continuously improving organizational energy and GHG performance beyond regulatory compliance through process optimization, increased efficiency in existing processes, design considerations in new operations, and investment in on-site renewable energy generation.
- GBP incorporates circular economy principles to reduce GHG impact by incorporating recycled content in our products and via our landfill diversion initiative.
- Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 GHG emissions are quantified for all operations annually using GHG Protocol. Key indicator documentation provides data traceability and ensures data quality, including energy types and consumptions, conversion factors, and GHG emission factors.
